The Art + Design & Craft Club was created by members of IDB Family Association in 2019 in Bethesda, MD. The Art Club has been meeting usually on Fridays from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm.  

Each month we propose a different theme to inspire our creations.  In special occasions, we invite professional art instructors, who are experts in techniques we are interested in. We learn from them, and then we continue practicing by ourselves. 

We also encourage our participants to share their own knowledge in painting, art theory, phtography, fashion, or any hand-crafted skill. Participation is voluntary, and we hope to empower our members to practice their teaching skills and team work with us. 

At our meetings you will get the chance to know other members  who share a passion for art. Being part of the club also provides an opportunity for you to practice your art and English skills in a relaxing atmosphere, since a lot of members are Spanish speakers. We inspire and respect each other with our work, and that is what keeps us moving forward.
