Jane Pilla
Jane Pilla is a Brazilian designer who discovered her passion for art and fashion at a very young age. She studied Fashion Design in Milan, worked for textile industry, fashion magazines and automakers. Nowadays, as textile designer, jewelry maker and as an artist, she fulfills her creative dreams being among friends and fellow artists.
Teresa Rozkiewicz
Teresa is a Canadian-Venezuelan contemporary visual artist. She has been painting and exhibiting her art around the world for the last 20 years. Her mixed media paintings are inspired by all the different and fascinating countries she has lived in for the past 30 years.
Mónica Stewart
Born in Montevideo, Uruguay. Mónica studied Art in Uruguay in several private studios and in Bellas Artes Institute. She has always pursue it as a hobby, and as a form of expression. She enjoys the club, as it is where she explores other art media and expands her knowledge, and shares ideas and creativity.
Lourdes Telleria
Lourdes is from Bolivia. She is happily retired enjoying God’s gift of art learning.
Fany Wong
Fany is from Peru. She studied graphic design and art. One of her passions is designing jewelry. She believes that participating in the art club is a beautiful experience where she can express and create ideas.
Carmen de Corzo
Carmen is from Guatemala and is currently living in Switzerland. She is a grandmother of 14 and great grandmother of 5. She studied Fashion Design. She enjoy painting and loves to learn new art methods.
Maia Wyler
Maia Wyler is an Argentine mixed media artist and illustrator. With paint, threads, or collage, she captures the soul of the natural world and portrays it in her artwork. Her whimsical and refreshing style can bring joy to any space.

She is an economist and specialist in Marketing. The beauty of art has always captivated her and is interested to learn more about it.
Luciana Mora
Luciana Mora is from Argentina. She is a mother of four and also a lawyer with postgraduate studies in Cultural Management. She has worked for more than twenty years as a lawyer, and at the same time, she has traveled the world of art and culture from her varied work experiences. More importantly, she has been making ceramic sculptures for 10 years. Being part of the club has been the most inspiring thing that happened to her since she moved to this country.
Eugenia Espinosa
Eugenia is from the United States and lives in Maryland. She has always loved to sew, paint and work creatively with her hands. Learning new techniques inspires her and she finds it very therapeutic. Eugenia is honored to be able to work with and be inspired by the IDB art group.
Gabriella Mendez
Colombian visual artist, specializing in 2D animation, illustration, and comics. Activist for mental health and emotional responsibility. She has worked on animated feature films, documentary series, and participated in the creation of children's books. Currently venturing into self-management as an artist and digital marketing, seeking, like many, to eventually make a living from free art.
Roxana Cestelos
Roxana is from Mexico City. She is a Spanish teacher who loves to paint.
Natalia Aballay Molina
Natalia is a Hatha Yoga instructor from Chile, specializing in yoga for children, prenatal and postnatal yoga, and yoga for seniors. Despite residing in DC for a short time, she discovered the IDB Family Association, where she has been learning and exploring new aspects, participating in art workshops, and expressing one of the things she loves besides yoga, which is her nature.
Sandra Beruto
Sandra is an Art Curator from Argentina. More than twenty years ago she began her path exploring art, going through different painting and ceramic workshops. She enjoys a lot learning different techniques and sharing with all the club members.
Gabriely Simette
Gabriely is a software developer from Brazil. She has always had a passion for crafting and sees the Art Club as a space to explore new techniques, share experiences, and learn about the world of art.
Camila Rios
Camila is from Paraguay, she is an Industrial Engineer who has always held a passion for art and creative processes. This passion was ignited by a very important family member who was a painter. While Camila's artistic journey began with portraits, she has recently found herself drawn to exploring other forms of artistic expression.
Fiorella Mendonza
Fiorella is from Lima, Peru. She is an economist by profession and an art enthusiast in her free time. She greatly enjoys working with flowers, candles, watercolor paintings, and has recently been experimenting with woodcut. She seeks to learn new techniques to continue expressing herself through art.
Camila Lazo
I’m passionate about art as a way to transfer my emotions and desires into a tangible work of art. I have studied History and Pedagogy in Chile and Social Development in Spain. The Art + Design & Craft Club is a space to discover techniques even to communicate in other languages.
Rediscovering my passion through the Art Club reconnected me with the artistic passion of my family with many artists within it.
Eliane Dias Boechat
I was born and raised in the interior of Rio de Janeiro State, in Bom Jesus do Itabapoana, Brazil. Overthere, I was a Kindergarten Teacher. I noticed my connection with the arts when I was just six years old. I realized it would transport me to a much better place as I would feel always calmer and relaxed while being involved with any artistically project. I have no artistically formation, I simply embrace it as a joyful hobby - but, if I had had the opportunity to make a career out of it, I would certainly feel happy as well. I participate in Community Art Classes and in the IDB Family Association’s Art Group Classes always when time allows me so to keep the flame high, shinning, and going - let’s see where and when I will shine next!

The option of being in the Art + Design & Craft Club is to seek inspiration to discover a certain aptitude in this area - to learn and live with people with the same interest as I don’t have an artistic curriculum. I'm a lawyer and I came from Brazil to live, discover and enjoy what American culture offers!
Oscar Flores
My name is Oscar Flores ES-VE. I am an IT professional and love doing things with my hands. Creating my first beach art piece using woodcut techniques was a journey of solving problems and restoring harmony, reflecting my restorative strength.
My deep sense of connection helped me draw inspiration from the shore's natural beauty, embedding meaningful stories in the artwork. I captured intricate details with keen Insight and brought innovative designs to life. Taking responsibility for every step, I ensured the piece was carefully crafted. As a Futurist, I envisioned the endless possibilities of blending traditional techniques with contemporary themes, inspiring a forward-thinking approach to my artistic journey. I am always interested in learning new things and exploring new areas out of my comfort zone.
Patricia Giovannoni
While working for an international organization for almost 30 years, Patricia used art to express herself. During the day she performed clerical work, and outside this environment, Patricia was exploring different techniques in her growth as an artist. She translated emotions, thoughts, and feelings into her artwork, dreaming that someday these parts of herself would feed someone else’s soul and brighten someone else’s home.
Today, Patricia showcases her artwork at the Artists' Undertaking Gallery in Occoquan, VA, and enjoys the camaraderie and creativity of the Family Association's Art Club.

Amanda is a Brazilian advertiser and photographer, passionate about the world, the arts, and their diverse expressions. She is an enthusiast of ceramics and an appreciator of contemporary art. With a sensitive, curious, and detailed eye, Amanda is always exploring new things and open to learning new techniques, constantly seeking to expand her horizons and deepen her artistic knowledge.
Victor Hugo Nava
Originally from Maracaibo, Venezuela, Victor Hugo is an Industrial Electrician as profession, an Entrepreneur by vocation and an active volunteer at the IDB Family Association. He is very interested in Graphic Design and also in website development.
