Abstract Watercolor

Exercises made during our class - this one in the middle is Fany’s directly from Lima, Peru.

Abstract Watercolor inspired by poetry was one of the biggest highlights of the semester.

Martin Sestakova is an amazing textile designer, who teaches her techniques at Visarts in Rockville, among others art institutes and communities of the Metropolitan Washington area.

Inspired by Mary Oliver’s poems she conducted us to experiment with brushes, colors and water. It was relaxing to see how the water runs, how it dries, and also realize transparencies and new textures.
