Blossoming Creativity!
The 3D Flower Workshop in Watercolor with textile designer Martina was a joyful and inspiring experience! We welcomed new members, including Alejandra Bautista and Ora, who quickly became part of the creative flow. The session was filled with imagination, color, and unique artistic expressions.
Once again, Mariana amazed us with her ability to create with the lightness and spontaneity of a child, effortlessly bringing her vision to life. Lourdes, on the other hand, took a different approach, painting a figurative landscape filled with enormous flowers that seemed to bloom beyond the paper. Eugenia meticulously shaped delicate orchids, capturing their elegance with soft and fluid strokes.
Sandra Beruto played beautifully with contrasts, using bold combinations of deep blues and vibrant reds, making her piece both striking and harmonious. Mabel chose to depict herself and her daughter, weaving personal meaning into her work with gentle yet intentional brushstrokes. Meanwhile, Jane explored movement and scale in a playful and dynamic way, adding depth and energy to her composition.
Ora, also a new member, brought her European flair to the table by creating poppies as a tribute to her memories of France, adding a nostalgic and personal touch to the session.
Our online participants also brought incredible energy and creativity. Eliane surprised us all with a stunning 3D pop-up piece, demonstrating a keen sense of structure and dimension. And Deidra, joining from Guatemala, invited us into her world, sharing the inspirations she finds in her own home, transforming them into art.
By the end of the session, our workspace was filled with vibrant colors, bold ideas, and a shared sense of accomplishment. Each piece reflected not only the artists’ individual styles but also the collective energy of the group—a true celebration of creativity in full bloom!
