We Made It
What a fun morning we had at the Art Club!
Thanks to Monica Stewart who brought this idea for us to play with leaves and acrylics.
For the ones who want to try by themselves, attention for some tips:
Pick green leaves!
It really makes a difference when stamping because its malleable.
If not so green, try put it inside a book to make it as flat as possible.
Make some exercises to practice before stamping on canvas, for example.
Be patient and/or try again.
By the pictures above, you can see each artist style, colors and composition preferences.
Some of us played with minimalism, other with lots of colors and forms. We printed multiple times the same leaf, but we also experimented different shapes of them.
It is a nice project to work with kids too!
