A New Way to See

On  April 11th at the Art Club, we explored the power of repurposing with Eugenia Espinosa.

Neckties — once formal, forgotten, or tucked away — became something new: soft, creative lens cases.

Not just to protect our glasses, but to honor the many ways we see the world.

Vision. Connection. Craft.

Each stitch carried a story. A bond. A moment shared among different cultures, backgrounds, and voices — tied together by curiosity and joy.

It was a full house, bursting with creativity, warmth, and friendship.

Thank you, Eugenia, for reminding us that sometimes, the most unexpected materials hold the clearest visions.

The ones who had missed the last session still had the chance to make their phone charger cases—four more were created on the 11th! Glad to see the creativity kept going strong!
