🧵Stitching Stories 🪡
This Friday, our lovely teacher was Eugenia Espinosa, and she showed us how to make a super useful little pouch to keep your phone and charger together—perfect for tossing into your bag so you don’t forget the essentials (because let’s be honest, the phone is basically priority number one these days!).
Our fun group included Eugenia, Mabel, Lourdes, Xaire, Jane, Selene, Janice, and a warm welcome to our newest member, Adriana Soto!
We chatted about sewing, talked fashion, and Adriana—who’s getting married this May!—showed us her stunning wedding dress. There were sweet bites of Red Velvet cake, delicious palmiers, and plenty of laughter and conversation.
It was one of those relaxing, joyful mornings where stitching by hand turns into storytelling, sharing, and simply being together. It’s amazing how something so simple becomes so meaningful.
And we’re already excited for next Friday!
We’ll be making eyeglass cases out of neckties—yes, ties! Trust us, you’re going to be amazed by how beautiful and creative these turn out.
If you missed this week’s session (the phone + charger pouch), no worries! You can still try making it next week and finish it at home.
Eugenia also left us a handy step-by-step image guide (in English!) for anyone who wants to try the pouch at home.
Have a beautiful week, and let’s keep our creative energy flowing!
